The openings of the villa are fitted with bug-proof screening. This allows for fresh air flow, none of our villas have glass windows. The air travels naturally with this bug-proof netting in place, which allows for cool air to come in. The high ceilings in our villas benefit this process.

TRANSPORTATION
Walking, buses, taxis, bicycles (for rent right at the end of the street), or cars are all great options for getting around Playa Chiquita and the local area. Most locals use bicycles to get around as it is a very bicycle friendly area. If you want to get into town for the nightlife in Puerto Viejo, a taxi (~$8USD), bicycle, or bus (~$1USD) would be best.
While the town of Puerto Viejo is close by you will find everything you need to get by within Playa Chiquita (Grocery Store, Beach and Restaurants).
