The Jaguar Rescue Center is a temporary or permanent home for ill, injured and orphaned animals. With a focus on monkeys, sloths, other mammals, birds and reptiles, the JRC provides veterinary services, round-the-clock care and comfort to animals that would otherwise be unable to survive in the rainforest or the waters of the Caribbean.

Ara Manzanillo – Great Green Macaw Reintroduction Project
Rewilding the endangered macaws A Truly Inspiring Natural Experience!
This project represents the first time, to our knowledge, that the Great Green macaw species are reintroduced into the wild anywhere in the world. The well-trained guides will give you a review of the three components the reintroduction project: The Release Program, The Assisted Reproduction Program and The Community Outreach Program. Then you will be guided to our lookout point with spectacular views.
